Rachelle Shapiro is a Global Marketing Manager at Vans, the Southern California footwear and apparel company rooted in action sports, art, music and street culture. In her role, she is able to tell inspiring stories through the lens of enabling creativity. Growing up in East L.A. and the surrounding area, Rachelle attended LAMustArt as a kid, played in her school’s band and eventually found a passion for music journalism. She currently holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from California State University, Long Beach. Rachelle continues to be inspired by the creative people she gets to work with through her job and is excited to once again be part of a community organization that gives access to the arts in Los Angeles.
