The Programs Assistant holds the responsibility for performing customer service functions, providing information regarding LAMusArt programs, enrolling and withdrawing students, accepting and processing tuition payments, answering and screening telephone calls, adjusting instructor schedules and master database, and assisting instructors, students, and parents as required, while also providing support for LAMusArt’s arts instruction activities, including programs, special events, community relations, and marketing.


The Grant Writer will hold responsibility for researching, writing, compiling, and managing the timeline of all grants including maintenance and oversight of workflow processes and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient collection and timely submission. The Grant Writer will write grant applications and conduct prospect research on new opportunities that align with LAMusArt’s mission. Grant writing will be primarily to private foundations; however, some government applications will be required.


LAMusArt's Acting Teacher will have the responsibility to create and implement syllabus with VAPA integration, support, prepare and introduce students to varying concepts in theatre, and simultaneously direct a recital presentation at least twice a year. Instructor will maintain a safe and nurturing environment for students, track and maintain student attendance, create detailed substitute lesson plans and arrange for substitute coverage.  Applicants must have experience in providing and maintaining a professional studio and performance
atmosphere for education.
