Jackie is a first generation Mexican artist and educator from the Port of Los Angeles area. After receiving a BA in Art Education from CSULB, Jackie went on to teach art to students of all ages through private studios as well as in school districts through non profits. Her art explores nature and self reflection through various mediums such as gouache and oil paint. With an emphasis on social and emotional learning, she hopes to inspire and encourage students through her teaching practices.
